Account deletion request
How to delete your Hi Taigi (Android) account and the data linked to it. An account is optional and is created only when you sign in with a Google Account.
Delete in the app
- Open the app and tap Info in the bottom tab bar.
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Read the note, then tap Delete Account again.
Deletion happens immediately. If you have removed the app, install it again, sign in with the same Google Account and follow the same steps.
Request by email
If you can't delete in the app, email noform.dev@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request". The app does not store email addresses, so please include the first 8 characters of your account ID (shown under Info → Account) if you can. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Data that is deleted
- Your account (a random account ID)
- The identifier (sub) of the Google Account you signed in with
- The tokens that keep you signed in
All of it is deleted right away, with no retention period.
Data that is not deleted
- Data on your device (bookmarks, word lists, history, learning records) stays only on the device and is never sent to the server. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
- Your Taigi Plus subscription is not canceled when you delete your account. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Purchase records are kept by Google Play and by RevenueCat (which manages purchases) to manage the subscription and meet legal record-keeping requirements.
